FIDI Governance

FIDI Board

The FIDI Board is FIDI’s main governing body. Members of the Board are screened by the Nominating Committee and are subject to election rules contained in the FIDI Statutes. Every two years, at the annual FIDI conference, the proposed nominees are presented to the General Assembly, which then votes to instate the Board as a whole.

The Board’s responsibilities include:

  • Outlining FIDI’s strategy
  • Leading FIDI operations
  • Chairing the Annual General Assembly
  • Implementating proposals approved by the General Assembly
