In order to further improve the governance structure of Federation, the FIDI Finance, Administrative and Technology Committee was established in 2010.  The committee was established to assist the FIDI Office and the FIDI Board in the areas of IT and financial due diligence.
 
The committee’s mandate is that the "FIDI Finance, Administrative and Technology Committee has been established to complement the knowledge and level of expertise within the FIDI Office. Its purpose is to review, analyze and validate that the processes, procedures and decision making methodology in place at the FIDI Office are appropriate for the organization, transparent and serve the interests and objectives of the FIDI affiliates."
