The negotiations between fiscal workers and the government, took place on November 29, 2013. They were able to reach an agreement on wages being demanded by the workers. The strike has ended and all operations are being restored to normal.
The fiscal workers are again on strike in Chile since November 25. There is no agreement yet in sight between the workers and the government, so the strike is expected to continue. A meeting is scheduled to take place on the evening of November 29 between the two parties.
The governments of Spain and Japan have signed an agreement to cooperate with each other on customs matters to facilitate trade, ensure compliance and exchange information on new customs procedures.
Improved economic conditions in Europe have contributed to a rise in the Stifel Logistics Confidence Index which has now reached 57.1. The index has remained above the 50 level since February, but is now at its highest with individual air and sea indices also being above the 50-level.
Stifel and Transport Intelligence partnered to create the Logistics Confidence Index which surveys the international shippers and forwarders on a monthly basis, and measures freight activity across several European trade lanes.
Paris: The International Transport Forum at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is calling for applications for a new award. The Promising Transport Innovation Award recognizes innovations that could potentially improve the transport industry. The innovation could be technological, operational, organizational or a combination of these.

The fiscal employees signed a resolution with the Internal affairs' Ministry and Finance's Ministry in order to revoke the agreement previously made between the National Customs Service and the Internal Affairs' Ministry, which gave stronger supervisory power to the police in working areas. Therefore, all institutions involved in the strike, came back to normal operations.

Consequently the FIDI Affiliation of the latter has been terminated under Article 7.6.2. of the FIDI Statutes (an Affiliate which is liquidated or under the supervision of a receiver, a court-appointed accounting supervisor, or composition procedure, or which enters into any arrangement with its creditors, is considered as having resigned and its resignation has immediate effect).
