Update: no extra fees on AGS rates to US & China

Dear Partners,

Please be advised that AGS has not introduced any additional shipping fees since 14 October, when both US and Chinese ports began charging increased port fees for specific Chinese and US vessels, respectively.

We are aligned with the majority of global carriers, who are not applying surcharges at this stage. They are opting instead to review their exposure and/or absorb potential costs.

This could change, however, since the fees charged to vessel operators are set to increase every year, per the notice of action issued by the United States Trade Representative.

 We are closely monitoring official carrier advisories and industry updates.

 Should any carrier introduce a surcharge, we will notify you immediately and clearly indicate it in our quotations.
