The FIDI Global Alliance acknowledged this demand by developing the FIDI Accredited International Mover (FAIM) Quality Management Programme. This is the most rigorous and the only quality certification programme dedicated exclusively to the international moving industry.

The FAIM Quality Management Programme

The programme is based on 'The FAIM Standard' defining clear and consistent quality requirements which a company has to comply with. The quality requirements cover every aspect of the administration and performance of an international removal; they take into account every facet of a moving company's services, procedures, staff training, vehicles, warehouse maintenance and facilities. Beyond the operation aspect of a move, the FAIM Standard requirements also cover current industry topics such as Data Privacy Protection, Supply Chain Management, Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption, Social Responsibility, Pre-employment Screenings and Financial Stability.

The FAIM Standard is associated with the 'FAIM Certification Programme' designed to ensure that each FIDI-FAIM certified company maintains this expected high level of quality at all times. Every FIDI Affiliate's Principal Office has to go through a regular independent assessment of their international moving activities.
