FIDI 39 Club Scholarship applications are open!

The FIDI 39 Club Board, are excited to open the application process for the FIDI 39 Club Scholarship 2024 award. The deadline for submission is 31 January 2024. The winning scholar will be awarded a 5,000 EUR prize to attend the exclusive FIDI Conference in Edinburgh, UK in May 2024. Registration, hotel and travel costs will be covered, up to the value of 5,000 EUR, by the FIDI 39 Club scholarship fund. The winner will also automatically join the FIDI 39 Club, if not already a member, and may attend all its conference activities and the FIDI 39 Club conference as part of the prize.

 

Eligibility criteria for entry:

 

The scholarship applicant:

  • has to work for a FIDI affiliated company
  • be aged under 40 by the time of the FIDI conference in May 2024
  • has to be actively involved in their local community (for example organizing and/or participating in a charity project) or within their company (for example demonstrating a leadership role, participating in a mentorship programme, etc.). The project should have been running at least 6 months by 31 January 2024.

 

Applications are now open and may be sent by email to 39club@fidi.org. To apply, applicants are required to submit a written presentation of their project (min. 1,000 words). They may also include an optional video presentation (max. 5 minutes duration). A key element of the Scholarship application process is for Scholarship applicants to provide a business case to present their project, with clear evidence of a project plan which supports the smooth rollout of their project.

 

Please note, the winner must claim their prize by attending the FIDI Conference in 2024, the prize cannot be deferred. The winner will be invited to present their project during the FIDI 39 Club conference.
