According to FEDEMAC, there have been reports this week of congestion at Felixstowe Port, the UK's largest container port. International household goods shipments could face delays with vessels being diverted to Rotterdam to avoid lengthy delays in unloading.

"The BBC reported that the increased volume of imports prior to Christmas together with 11,000 containers of Personal Protective Equipment ordered by the government is only adding to the problems at the Port of Felixstowe.  Last week, Taiwanese giant Evergreen, diverted a vessel to Rotterdam after it was warned that it could take 10 days to unload.  The cargo was then ferried back to London from the Dutch port."
