Revised edition of the FIDI Professional Cooperation Guidelines (PCG)
The 2024 Edition of the FIDI Professional Cooperation Guidelines (the PCG) has been approved by the Delegates Meeting in Edinburgh (May 2024) and replaces the 2020 version with immediate effect. Existing chapters have been revised and new ones introduced such as the Abandoned Cargo section to help the FIDI Community operate in a clear process driven way.
Key changes in a nutshell : packing list guidelines, abandoned cargo, video surveys, communication timelines for unforeseen charges, deviation of delivery, validity period and new clear timelines when disputing an invoice.
Huge thanks to the FIDI PCG Committee for their appreciated contribution in delivering the fifth revision of the FIDI Professional Cooperation Guidelines since their launch in 2017.
The FIDI PCG Committee consists of 21 industry volunteers representing 16 FIDI Affiliated companies, 16 countries and 7 geographical regions.
